My name is Zulema, which means “peace” in Arabic, and I am a drum sound healer, Reiki practitioner, life coach, and spiritual intuitive.
I am working to bring peace and healing back to our communities through the use of the sound of the drum, along with incorporating Reiki, a Japanese energy healing art that uses gentle hand movements to guide the flow of healthy life force energy to reduce stress and promote healing.

ws us to alleviate tension and stress while also having one feel more peace, calmness, joy, and happiness in life. The sound of the drum allows us to reconnect more with our hearts, and our authentic selves, and for the energy of love to flow more freely and bring a tremendous amount of healing to the mind, body, and spirit.
What allows me to stand out among other sound healers and Reiki practitioners is my background and experience in mental health. I received a master’s degree in social work from San Jose State University in 2008 and worked in the field for approximately 15 years as a clinical social worker. As a result, I understand deeply the struggles associated with mental health issues. While I loved working in the field for many years, my spirit was calling for me to reconnect with my ancestral Colombian and Mexican heritage and the Native American spirit to which I am deeply connected.
My passion and love for the sound of the drum and how it has healed me on many levels in my own life was the driving force that shifted my focus to becoming a drum sound healer. It has been my honor and privilege to reconnect with my ancestral lineage and respectfully use these energies to bring healing, love, connection, and unity back to our communities once again.
Your donations will fund my projects since I plan to offer drum sound healing services to nonprofit organizations, schools, and senior living facilities, to name a few. I am also available for consultation and healing services by phone or through Zoom teleconferencing.
